echo-diastasis: An invitation-challenge to your hearing

Always in our course so far, the innovative ideas that we have implemented and are implementing are a result of scientific knowledge and inspiration, but, above all, of audio documentation and proof. This attitude led us as a company to gain respect and recognition, both among colleagues in the field, as well as in domestic and international publications and sites, receiving flattering reviews.

Remaining faithful to our philosophy and principles at Echo Diastasis and believing that always in the field of high-end, innovative ideas are the ones that signal evolution, we have never stopped exploring new fields and applications in high fidelity. Always in our course so far, the innovative ideas that we have implemented and are implementing are a result of scientific knowledge and inspiration, but, above all, of audio documentation and proof. This attitude led us as a company to gain respect and recognition, both among colleagues in the field, as well as in domestic and international publications and sites, receiving flattering reviews. However, these reports did not reassure us, nor did we rest on the laurels of yesterday, but with the idea that at Echo-Diastasis we design and produce "handmade musical instruments", we improve and become better every day.

As a result of all these efforts we proudly present to you our new products series "version 2". Especialy the new Phonograph preamplifier "Echo Diastasis PH-79 V.2" whose predecessor has already written its own history in the field of high end having received only praise. We invite you to "listen" and not just hear.

Phono amplifier - PH-79 v.2

      In addition to the elements that characterized its predecessor, namely:

• special amplification devs,
• additional noise rejection stabilizer,
• special topology that ensures that the delicate and low voltage signal of any head (movable coil, magnet or iron) in its path to any amplifier will be free from unwanted and annoying noises.
• active equalization,
• zero feedback,
• absolute precision in RIAA equalization that is innovatively achieved by separating high and low frequency poles and by matching materials.
• specially designed EI core transformers to achieve maximum possible RF noise rejection from the supply line.

The following have been added to the new Echo Diastasis PH-79 V.2 phonographic head preamplifier:

• better, reinforced and rigid chassis,
• new redesigned front panel with easier-to-adjust switches,
• double supply capacity,
• support of the device on aluminum legs with special vibration isolation,
• two head inputs with stand by capability so that the machine always remains in operation and ready to play,
• redesigned PCB with shorter signal paths,
• Advanced low-capacity input system that allows combination and matching with all phonographic heads,
• high quality and low capacity internal OFC wiring,
• use of excellent quality materials in selected and critical points,
• Improved output devices that provide more current and may be able to drive longer cables.

It goes without saying that the Echo Diastasis PH-79 V.2 is also assembled exclusively by hand with continuous and individual control of all parts up to the last production stage. The choice of materials is made with the strictest criteria and each device is carefully tested before it reaches the hands of the consumer.

Pre amplifier - PRE-79 v.2

Pre-79 v.2 was designed to function completely different from the usual preamplifiers. With a whole new volume control module attached, there is no need of a potentiometer (or attenuator) in the signal path. This application is a major step towards the non-alteration and degradation of the original signal, which additionally is achieved without using a negative feedback.

The following have been added to the new Echo Diastasis Pre-79 V.2 preamplifier:

• new redesigned front panel with easier-to-adjust switches,
• double supply capacity,
• support of the device on aluminum legs with special vibration isolation,

Power amplifier - A-79 v.2

Although the A-79 v.2 is a transistor amplifier, its circuit design is treated as a tube amplifier remaining incredibly simple, leaving the entire design to focus on materials quality and continuous accurate measurements, reaching the desired acoustic result. Furthermore this final result, is derived from intensively acoustic sessions.

I-79 v.2 combines and integrates the design innovations of the A-79 v.2 and Pre-79 v.2, to a more economic proposition with less power, without lacking in sound quality of the individual units. The I-79 v.2 completely avoids the use of a potentiometer in the signal path, while maintaining the simplicity of its design achieving, speed, transparency and musicality.
